Since he was young, Bob Mims has been into sports. Now based in Memphis, the former basketballl coach knows that agility and talent are not enough to make a successful athlete. He sees a positive attitude, camaraderie, respect, and care for teammates as the most standout qualities of a truly respectable athlete. He is also a follower of the SEC college football, and a devoted fan of Ole Miss.

Bob Mims believes that a person’s health shouldn’t be compromised while living to the fullest. To stay physically active and fit, Robert participates in different activities such as the P90x workout and yoga. When he has the time, he also enjoys playing golf and swimming.

Aside from sports, Bob Mims is also a film enthusiast. He lists “Shawshank Redemption,” “Star Wars,” “Hoosiers,” “Raiders of Lost Ark,” and “Lord of the Rings” as some of his favorite movies. Lesser known films such as “The Way Way Back,” “The Big Sick,” “It’s Kind of a Funny Story,” “Searching for Bobby Fisher,” and “Undefeated” are on his must-watch list. He also enjoys watching shows like “Billions,” Homeland,” “House of Cards,” “Better Call Saul,” and “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.”
